COMMUNION

Lida is a wise-cracking survivor with a tumultuous past who, while trying to heal her relationship with her head-strong and forthright daughter, changes her therapist’s life - without even knowing it.

Communion introduces audiences to three courageous women at turning points, trying to reconnect, to make amends and to go forward in their lives. Incredibly moving, at times irreverent and amazingly funny - this is a true-to-life story about what makes us all human. Communion is the latest play from the esteemed and wildly popular 2008 Siminovitch Prize-winning playwright Daniel MacIvor.
