ACOUSTIX

This dynamic foursome has been electrifying audiences around the world for 18 years. They have shared the stage with many talented acts, including The Dixie Chicks, LeAnn Rimes, The Kings Singers, The Canadian Brass, The Dallas Wind Symphony and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Acoustix recently contributed their talents to the new Bill Gaither Homecoming video project Amazing Grace; some of the other artists involved included the Oak Ridge Boys, Signature Sound and Brenda Lee. The quartet sing a wide variety of musical styles, Vocal Jazz, Gospel, Doo Wop, from standards like “Bye Bye Blackbird” to “I Get Around” by the Beach Boys The quartet has made appearances in 47 states 6 Canadian provinces with performances in 7 countries outside of North America. Traveling to well over 300 cities around the globe from Carnegie Hall in New York, the Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto to Muse Arc Hall in Tokyo Acoustix has graced the stages of the greatest venues in the world.

Come see the bright lights, come and experience laughter and love songs Come and feel the love tonight. You can experience all these things through music. They all come in four part harmony. The Stampede City chorus along with Acoustix will take you on a musical tour through New Orleans blues, Gospel and Contemporary music that will surprise you. Our music is done a-cappella in four part harmony barbershop style sung by our chorus and local quartets. Music can lift your soul, it can raise your spirits, and music promotes harmony.

The Stampede City Chorus has been providing family orientated a-cappella entertainment barbershop style to Calgary and area audiences for more than 50 years. Our chorus prides itself in its community involvement and service. We are part of the Barbershop Harmony Society 26000 member’s strong world wide. We love to sing. Come and experience music a-cappella barbershop style. We are always looking for men who love to sing.
